Renzo Montoya is an Peruvian filmmaker, and U.S. veteran graduate of Montclair State University whose work is defined by emotionally raw storytelling, atmospheric visuals, and an authentic connection to underground culture.

A Slamdance Film Festival alumni, Montoya gained recognition for his series pilot Disc (2024), which won at the Soho International Film Festival and was mentioned in Variety and IndieWire. His most recent film, Noise (2026), was named a finalist for the DGA Student Film Awards, further establishing him as an emerging voice in independent cinema.

He founded the production company Senior Cat Pictures LLC, through which he champions the next wave of independent filmmakers under his creative banner.
